Student Academic Committee
All of the college’s academic endeavors are managed by the JBIMS Student Academic Committee. The committee serves as the only point of contact for the administration, professors, and students of the institution. Additionally, it collaborates with other campus committees and organizations to avoid duplication of events and academic pursuits.
Strategym
Since its founding in 1995, Strategym has given organizations an advantage by offering creative ideas and solutions in hitherto untapped areas of management disciplines. The skills and experience of the business world’s leading lights are combined with the youth’s new and creative vision. The papers that were given at the Strategy 2018 conference focused on the issues facing the industry at the time and generated creative solutions. The papers go through a rigorous screening process before being presented at the convention, where we ask important academic members and representatives from the business world to review them.
Placement Committee
Every student that enrolls at JBIMS has aspirations of being successful in business. The Placement Committee is crucial in assisting persons in realizing their desire for successful placements. The main yearly event of the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies is the International Research Conference (IRC). To have a significant and lasting impact in the field of business and management research, IRC was created in 2012. Dr. Stephen D’silva, a former director of JBIMS, and Dr. Kavita Laghate, the organization’s director, came up with the idea. The annual conference serves as a global gathering place for researchers, management experts, academics, consultants, decision-makers, and management students.
Infratech Committee
Infrastructure Committee and Web Committee have been combined into one committee called Infratech beginning of the 2018–19 academic year. The purpose of combining these two committees is to make it simple to coordinate the management of the institute’s physical and digital infrastructure and to provide a single point of contact for both.
The committee’s infrastructure section serves as a liaison between the student body and the college administration.
The institute’s official website serves as its public face online, and the tech section of the committee is charged with managing it.
E-cell
Through mentorship and coaching, the JBIMS Entrepreneurship Cell seeks to foster students’ entrepreneurial spirit and unlock their amazing potential for creative and forward-thinking ideas. E-Cell serves as a mentor to college students who are interested in creating and maintaining successful businesses on their long and tough road.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), formerly a kind of deliberately dispersed philanthropy, is now evolving into a more comprehensive company strategy that generates both financial gains and favorable social and environmental effects. This highlights the need of fostering the mental process in aspiring businesspeople at an early age, both theoretically and practically.
